To fit with current practice, the Town of Varick has changed its official domain from varicknewyork.com to varickny.gov. That change makes it clearer that it is the website of a unit of government.

The switchover happened December 18. 2025. Most things will update to the new domain automatically. For many people, even saved bookmarks. Nevertheless, please update your files to reflect the new domain.

There are still a few links that need fixing, and we’re hunting them down. If you get a dead link, try deleting dir/ from the url in your address bar.
